The network organised a series of five workshops on different themes identified as areas for potential research and innovation. Each workshop was hosted by a different network partner, enabling partners to visit each other’s facilities and build collaborative research partnerships. A key aspect of the workshops was that they brought together not just researchers but also entrepreneurs and policymakers to maximise the relevance of ensuing research and uptake of results.
